I need help logging in to my MSSA account.

When are the dates of the conference?

The in-person conference is Wednesday, March 15 through Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Hilton Minneapolis. If you would like to attend the in-person conference, select the Full Access option when registering.

The live webinars take place April 6, 13, 20, and 27. All webinars will take place via Zoom. The in-person conference will not be live-streamed. Some in-person sessions and all webinars will be recorded for on-demand viewing through Friday, May 12.

I am going to the in-person conference. Do I need to sign up to attend specific sessions?

No, you do not need to sign up for specific sessions. However, we recommend using the Whova app to build your custom agenda in advance of the conference. The final conference schedule will come out in February, and registrants will receive an invitation to access Whova.

Do I need to wear a mask or provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination?

There are no COVID-19 requirements for this year's conference. Masking is optional at the Hilton, and we will not require proof of vaccination to attend in-person.

Will the sale of the Hilton Minneapolis affect the conference?

MSSA's Annual Training Conference and Expo will not be affected by the sale of the Hilton. We have confirmed with Hilton staff that everything will move forward as expected regardless of the impending sale.

Does MSSA share or sell its attendee list?

No, MSSA does not sell or share attendee information. If you are contacted by someone asking you to purchase MSSA's contact list, it is a scam.

What is the difference between the Full Access and Virtual Only registration options?

Participants who register for the Full Access option receive the following:

  • Admittance to the in-person Annual Conference & Expo at the Hilton Minneapolis, March 15-17;
  • Access to live webinars April 6, 13, 20 and 27; and
  • Access to On-demand content (recordings from specific in-person sessions, as well as recorded virtual sessions)

Participants who register for the Virtual Only option receive:
  • Access to live webinars April 6, 13, 20 and 27; and
  • Access to On-demand content (recordings from specific in-person sessions, as well as recorded virtual sessions)

How do I register a large group?

There are two ways you can register your employees in bulk:

A) MSSA is happy to help register your group on your behalf. Email [email protected] with a list of each person’s name, email address, and registration option (Full Access or Virtual Only; view registration options here); or

B) Contact [email protected] and a staff person can designate you as a Company Administrator for your agency. With Company Administrator privileges, you can renew/join on behalf of your colleagues and register them for events in one transaction. Email us to learn more!

I need to cancel my registration and receive a refund.

Visit our Attendee and Sponsor Policies page for details on cancellations and refunds.

When is the last day I can register?

Full Access registration closes on March 8, 2023. Virtual Only registration closes on March 31, 2023. There is no onsite registration available for the in-person event.

Will there be onsite registration?

No, we will not accept onsite registrations March 15-17. To attend in-person, you must register before the March 8 deadline. If you miss the deadline, please opt for the Virtual Only option, which you can sign up for through March 31.

How does the Block Rate work?

The conference Block Rate allows Agency Members to send an unlimited number of their staff to the conference at one fixed price, at no extra cost to their employees. Employees, however, must also be MSSA members (with either an Individual or Agency Individual membership). Email [email protected] to set up a block rate for your agency.

Check here to see if your agency is participating in the Block Rate.

I was told my agency would be paying for my membership and/or conference registration. Why am I seeing a price?

There are a few reasons you may be seeing the wrong price upon registering:

A) Your MSSA membership must not expire before April 1, 2023. If your membership expires before then, you need to renew.

B) Your agency has not yet paid its Agency membership and/or your Individual membership and/or the Agency Block Rate.

C) You have multiple accounts and are not logged in to the "correct" one. Contact [email protected] if you have this issue.

The correct price does not appear when I try to register.

If you are not seeing the correct registration price, check the following:

A) Your membership status. Your MSSA membership must not expire before April 1, 2023. If your membership expires before then, you need to renew; and

B) Your agency has not yet paid its Agency membership and/or your Individual membership and/or the Agency Block Rate. If this is the case, please wait until your agency appears on this list to register so you don’t get invoiced.
