HIV 101 and the Role of Harm Reduction

New HIV infections continue in Minnesota, and Minnesota is currently experiencing two outbreaks. Join us to hear about the current state of HIV in Minnesota as well as receive resources for supporting clients. Attendees will also learn about harm reduction principles and how to administer naloxone in the event of an opioid overdose.

Presenter: Mary McCarthy, Executive Director of the Rural AIDS Action Network, has been working in the HIV field for over 20 years and has facilitated over 200 trainings on topics related to HIV.

CEUs: Attendees can earn up to 1.5 CEUs

Pricing: $10 for MSSA members, FREE for student members, $30 for nonmembers
